    VNA Foundation awards grants to support home and community-based healthcare and health services for the medically underserved in Cook, Lake, McHenry, DuPage, Kane and Will counties with a focus on Chicago.


    The Foundation will consider funding program, operating, and capital grants, which are in support of the following areas: 

    • Home health care services,
    • Community and school-based services,
    • Primary care and chronic disease management, and
    • Health promotion.

    Priority consideration will be given to programs in which care is provided by nurses.

    Organizations exempt from income tax under sec. 501 (c)(3), and designated as a public charity under section 509(a)(1) or 509(a)(2), of the Internal Revenue Code.

    Deadline Details

    Letters of Intent are due March 16, 2023, June 15, 2023, and September 14, 2023. Full proposals are to be submitted by April 20, 2023, July 20, 2023, and October 19, 2023, respectively. Similar annual deadlines are expected, but not guaranteed.
