Eligibility Details
Eligible applicants are 501(c)3 organizations in a community where DTE Energy does business. This includes the US States of Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
Deadline Details
DTE Foundation grants are invitation-only: Q1 – Education & Employment, Q2 – Community Transformation/Economic Progress, Q3 – Human Needs/Arts & Culture, Q4 – Environment. We execute a strategy informed by critical community needs. Eligible and aligned organizations will receive direct requests to apply. We do not accept unsolicited letters or proposals. To seek out grantees, program staff will actively engage with a wide range of organizations, community groups and other foundations, monitor ongoing and emerging strategies and invite proposals from potential grantees based on priorities set by the DTE Foundation's Board of Directors.
Award Details
Individual awards range from $500 to more than $10,000. Larger requests will require more time to review and may be deferred to subsequent quarters.
