    The Grant for Technology Opportunities Program (GTOPs) is a grant administerd by the Digital Inclusion Program directed at improving the community's ability to fully participate in the digital society.

    Grant applications are reviewed and assessed by a panel of qualified community representatives appointed by the Community Technology and Telecommunications Commission, which has final approval over recipient selection.

    • Provide information technology literacy, education, and training.

  • Eligibility Details

    Applicants must be incorporated, tax exempt organizations residing in Austin or its Extra Territorial Jurisdiction for projects that create digital opportunities and foster digital inclusion. Other organizations and individuals residing in Austin or its Extra Territorial Jurisdiction may apply under the umbrella of a 501c organization.

    Deadline Details

    Letters of interest were to be submitted by January 18, 2021. Applications are to be submitted by February 12, 2021. GTOPs follows a one-year funding cycle, accepting new applicants for every fiscal year.     Award Details

    Approximately $200,000 is avialabel for awards. GTOPs offers individual grants of $10,000 to $25,000. The minimum amount any organization may be awarded is 70% of their request amount.
