    Summary

The Tulsa Community Foundation was established in 1998 to facilitate, assist, and support organizations to the fullest extent possible by growing philanthropy in northeastern Oklahoma.

Funding is available in the following program areas:

    • 501TechNet - 501TechNet stimulates nonprofit investment in technology by offering support services at 25% - 50% of their market cost. 501TechNet supplements its direct services with products and services made available through volume based purchasing agreements with our strategic partners. 501TechNet is partnering with Tulsa area nonprofits, financial and in kind supporters, and strategic partners to increase the community's capacity to serve those most in need. .
    • A Way Home for Tulsa - Seeking to end chronic homelessness in the Tulsa area, A Way Home for Tulsa is working with local nonprofits to design a sustainable case management-centered system .
    • Emergency Disaster Relief - Emergency assistance and disaster relief programs allow corporations to use philanthropic dollars to assist employees who face unexpected and unavoidable emergency situations causing a family financial hardship. Common areas of assistance include natural disasters, emergency travel, personal or medical emergencies and funeral expenses .
    • Fund for Teachers - Fund for Teachers enriches the personal and professional growth of teachers by recognizing and supporting them as they identify and pursue opportunities around the globe that will have the greatest impact on their practice, the academic lives of their students and on their school communities. Believing the teacher knows best how they can make a better impact in their classroom, Fund for Teachers awards fellowships for self-designed professional growth to PreK-12 teachers who recognize the value of inquiry, the power of knowledge, and their ability to make a difference.
    • Grants to Individuals Program - Scholarships to students of OK, for higher education. Fellowships also available for PreK-12 teachers.
    • Partnership for the Availability of School Supplies - The Partnership for the Availability of School Supplies (PASS) program provides basic sets of school supplies for students at Tulsa's highest poverty elementary schools. The program aims to ensure that economic inequality does not lead to an inequality of opportunity for students in the classroom.
    • Scholarships - The foundation maintains dozens of scholarship funds, assisting students locally and nationally. Each fund maintains individual requirements for application, ranging from academic performance and financial need to high school attended, major selected and hometown.

Additional support is available in donor-advised funding. For more information, contact the Foundation directly.
