    The Capital Group Companies Charitable Foundation has four program areas:


    • Anniversary Gift Program: The foundation awards grants to nonprofit organizations chosen by an employee who is celebrating an anniversary with Capital Group. An employee is eligible for this program every five years, beginning with his or her fifth anniversary.'
    • Associate Matching Gift Program: The foundation matches contributions made by associates of Capital Group to nonprofit organizations on a two-for-one basis, up to $5,000 per employee, per year.
    • Dollars for Doers: The foundation awards grants to nonprofit organizations with which employees of Capital Group volunteer, $100 for every 10 hours of service, up to $500 per fiscal year.
    • Grant Making Program: Through the Grant Making Program, the foundation awards grants on behalf of Capital Group employees who volunteer or serve on the board of a nonprofit organization.

    Deadline Details

    Applications are accepted throughout the year. Initial approach should be with a Letter of Intent. An applications form is not required.

    Award Details

    Awards vary based on scope and size of project. Awards are up to $100,000. Generally awards are less than $5,000. The most common award amount is $1,000.
