    • Education -Funded projects include (1) Improved learning environments; (2)Academic enhancements for youth; (3) Engagement of older adults in learning;
    • Healthcare and Medical Research - Funded projects include (1) Improve Facilities for Children, Adolescents and Older Adults; (2) Better Trained Healthcare Workforce; (3) Increased Access to Basic Healthcare; (4) Centers for Advancement in Personalized Medicine
    • Older Adults - Funded projects include (1) Disease and Disability Prevention, (2) Assistance for Older Adults to Remain Independent; and (3) Volunteerism, Recareering” and Community Engagement
    • Religious Organizations - Piper Trust invites and supports projects from all faiths provided they focus on children, adolescents, and older adults. Grantmaking for religious organizations reflects Piper's objectives and strategies in the Children, Older Adults, Education, and Healthcare program areas.

    Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) organizations and government agencies in Maricopa County. 

    Deadline Details

    Letters of Inquiry are accepted on a rolling basis. Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact a Piper Program Director prior to formally submitting a letter. Advance discussion helps to identify projects that align with program areas and grant guidelines. Successful applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal.
