    Supporting it's corporate mission, the ONE Gas Foundation aims to create a better tomorrow by investing in programs aligned with ONE Gas core values that enhance quality of life in communities served by Oklahoma Natural Gas, Kansas Gas Service and Texas Gas Service. The ONE Gas Foundation seeks to have a meaningful impact by allocating resources to a variety of areas with emphasis on the following categories:

    • Community Collaboration — They seek to leverage resources with other entities, allowing them to create a greater impact and better quality of life. This approach, which aligns with company values, helps foster inclusion and diversity and addresses the cultural needs of the communities served.

    History of Funding

    In 2021, ONE Gas contributed more than $2.8 million to nonprofit organizations through the ONE Gas Foundation and corporate sponsorships, and their employees volunteered more than 6,118 hours in company communities across Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas.

    EXCLUSIONS:

    • Grants generally will not be given to organizations that offer disease-specific client services, or focus on education and prevention of a single health condition such as heart or lung disease, cancer or diabetes.
    • Grants generally will not be given to private foundations
    • Grants generally will not be given to religious groups and churches, except in the case of programs or projects that benefit the broad community.
    • Grants generally will not be given to individual college preparatory schools or their foundations.
    • Grants generally will not be given to individual colleges and universities for scholarships to that institution.

    Awards are granted to 501(c)3 organizations within areas of company operations in OK, KS, and TX.

    Deadline Details

    Interested organizations may reach out directly to their local Community Relations Manager for Oklahoma Natural Gas, Kansas Gas Service or Texas Gas Service to discuss potential grant proposals or schedule an agency site visit. Proposals are accepted and reviewed quarterly.

    Award Details

    Awards range from $1000 to $225,000. Most awards are under $20,000.
